Ongoing Grant Work/Collaboration
Wildlife Habitat Assessment - Town of Warren (awarded December 2006)
Mad River Path Association/Mad River Valley Byway
Work closely with the Mad River Path Association to complete the Path through to Moretown from Warren school, including assisting with property owner contacts and securing easements, path location, grant work and to tie in the Path with the ongoing Byways work – possible follow-up grant after Byways Designation for signage, kiosks, trail heads etc
Affordable Housing
Work closely with the revitalized Mad River Housing Coalition to implement strategies in the Mad River Valley Housing Report from June 2006 – and to establish a Valley Land Bank
Inter-town Collaboration and Education Initiative
Continue with Education Series and submit new Municipal Education Grant application
Schedule a yearly summit of municipal officers of the three towns to discuss and prioritize and plan to achieve those agreed upon items selected from an agenda of possible projects.
Data
Work diligently with the data being collected, determine what is really needed, what can give us the numbers we need to work with forecasting, trends. Develop a truly meaningful way to use and communicate this data, with relevance to the skiing and business community.
Energy Self-sufficiency
Coordinate the various energy related initiatives and groups in the Valley – continue on a track of educating and securing energy conservation, while exploring Valley-wide projects in this area
Sustainable Agriculture
The Farming inventory discussed in this year’s Work Plan has been completed by the Mad River Sustainability Group – how do we wish to proceed in this area ??

Continue collaboration of this effort including possible projects funding
